Hyperloop is considered as Blue Skies Research which is evident from the response received from the competition and the R&D alike. Our work here at IIT Madras came to the notice of the Finance Minister of India Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, who recently encouraged us in a tweet to one of our media featurette in X(formerly known as Twitter). The next couple of days, were packed with ourselves in a series of media coverages(Tamil and English alike). The response received from these media channels and also the ministry reinforces our beliefs in realizing this dream of #IndianHyperloop.

New year, new family!

After the tremendous effort that was put in the development of the systems, backed by a year-long research and study, the time came to pass the reigns to the next generation. It was a blessed start of the 7th year of Hyperloop Innovation on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. The new team of 50+ highly enthusiastic students from various academic disciplines here at IIT Madras, adept to sow the seeds of triumphs in this disruptive transportation system were recruited after a two-week long procedure of applications and interviews and are excited for what’s in store this year.
